Troy grew up in rural Minnesota where he was taught the value of hard work and a strong sense of community. Troy graduated from the University of Minnesota as an Aerospace Engineer. He met his wife, Cora, and they moved to Seattle. Troy worked for Boeing as an aircraft designer engineer and as a senior manager of large programs for over 30 years. His time as a leader at Boeing taught him the value of planning, teamwork and the incredible strength of shared common goals and vision. Troy retired from Boeing in 2019. He was elected as the King County District 13 Water commissioner and is working to minimize flooding through out that district in Enumclaw Washington. Troy also accepted the position of President of TAP. Over the years Troy & Cora have traveled to the Philippines many times and have explored much of the islands together. Troy was impressed with the goals, objectives and vision of TAP and how we are planting “good seeds” through the children of Masbate. He plans to help TAP achieve its objectives and provide more learning & development opportunities for the children and communities of the Philippines.
